Airside Training Academy has been awarded the contract by Delhi International Airport Pvt. Ltd (DIAL) for training and testing of drivers at IGI Airfield.

ATA – Airside Training Academy is a joint venture between Tecknotrove Systems – global leader in simulation technologies and ZAKA group a aviation service group.

DIAL at IGI Airport is the first airport in the country to introduce Airside Driving Simulators to train and test drivers who operate on the airfield of IGIA. The simulators are developed and customized by Tecknotrove Systems to suit the DIAL requirements. The simulated training and testing scenarios are highly realistic and virtually mapped and customized to train operators on specific scenarios on the layout Indira Gandhi International airfield.

TecknoSIM Airport Driving Simulators were installed at the IGI Airport in June 2019. The academy was inaugurated by Mr. Videh Kumar Jaipuriar -CEO DIAL in presence of COO of DIAL Mr. Doug Webster , Mr. PP Singh Vice President – GMR Group , Shantanu Gupta -CEO Tecknotrove Systems, Faizal Siddique – CEO Zaka Group.

Mr. PP Singh Vice President at GMR Group says “ Simulation based training and testing of drivers cum operators will go a long way in improving the driving standards of the operators and minimize the safety incidents on the airside, thereby improving the overall safety standards of our airport.”
