Tata Steel’s plant in Angul India has recently invested in advanced simulators from Tecknotrove Systems for operator training. The investment is focused towards setting up a digital learning centre to train novice & refresher operators on improving safety and efficiency.
Tata steel’s plant in Orissa , will soon be utilizing Forklift simulator , Light vehicle Simulator and an Advanced HEMM heavy equipment operation simulator for tipper truck, dump truck, wheeled loader ,passenger bus and trailer trucks. The simulators are specially designed for training their operators on the most effective and efficient operations in multiple regional languages like Hindi, Odiya in addition of English .
The simulators also incorporate a Custom Mine Site where the visual environment has been customised to Tata steel plant in Angul to ensure the training effectiveness .
