Tecknotrove Systems, a global leader in simulation-based training technologies, has successfully completed the installation of an advanced High-Fidelity Conversion Kit Simulator for Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL). The delivered solution is engineered to elevate operator performance, improve safety standards, and enhance training efficiency across critical mining operations. The high-fidelity simulator supports multiple equipment types, including 100-Ton Dumpers, 60-Ton Dumpers, and Excavators with both face shovel and backhoe operation modes. Designed for versatility, the simulator caters to novice trainees as well as experienced operators undergoing refresher training, enabling them to practice and master machine handling in a controlled, risk-free environment.
At the core of the system is a 6-DoF motion platform, delivering exceptional realism by replicating machine vibrations, terrain response, and operational forces encountered at actual mine sites. This immersive experience allows trainees to build confidence, improve decision-making, and gain hands-on exposure to real-world mining scenarios without disrupting on-site productivity.
In addition to the simulator, Tecknotrove has also deployed 10 dedicated E-Learning Stations equipped with interactive modules covering mine site operational safety, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices for equipment handling. These stations provide comprehensive conceptual training that complements simulator-based practical exercises, ensuring a holistic learning pathway for operators.
