Tecknotrove is proud to be the chosen supplier for this project at SIAEC Singapore . Tecknotrove developed and supplied customised Airport Driving Simulator to SIAEC. The simulator has been deployed at Changi airport is is being used to train ground handlers on safe airside operations. The simulator includes 35 training and test scenarios. The terrain in the simulators are mapped to the actual terrain of Changi Airport In an interview to Business Times SIAEC mentioned that the simulator helps in reducing the number of SIAEC vehicles used for training drivers and also allows trainees to respond to rarer events that cannot be staged in an actual airport. They added that A simulation allows drivers to practise responding to other drivers and even planes that fail to follow airport protocols.
